The Pakistan Society of Hepatology (PSH) was founded in June 2001 in the city of Karachi. Since then PSH is striving to improve the practice of Hepatology in Pakistan.
Pakistan Society of Hepatology (PSH) since its birth in 2001 enjoys a legacy of academic contributions in the field of liver diseases to build capacity of our gastroenterologists, hepatologists, physicians, general practitioners, postgraduate trainees & house officers.
PSH annual meeting has been a year marked conference, apart from series of regional activities. This year we are holding the 23rd Annual Meeting of PSH in Karachi from 29th September to 1st October 2023.
All these years of scientific contribution by PSH have always been supported and partnered by our friends from industry who always had faith in us to deliver up-to-date knowledge to improve patient care and capacity building of our health care workers.

Today it has assumed a leading position to provide opportunities of development of professional competency and proficiency of those who come across liver diseases in everyday clinical practice. It provides a rich multi-faceted environment to junior clinicians who are interested to adopt a Hepatology-based career. In addition, it gives ideas for research for practicing Hepatologists faced with un-answered challenges that require deeper study into liver disease.
