Public Awareness Programs

The Pakistan Society of Hepatology regularly conducts activities that seek to increase public information and awareness about liver disease. These take the form of awareness walks and symposia. The content of the talks at these events is especially designed to be understandable by the general public. Needless to say for a country like Pakistan which is one of the worst affected countries by viral hepatitis, coupled with limited resources, prevention is the most cost effective way forward.
