Dr. M Osama Tariq Butt is currently working as Consultant Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatologist in Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute (PKLI), Lahore. He completed his FCPS Gastroenterology followed by fellowship in Transplant Hepatology from Shifa International Hospital, Islamabad. Dr Butt also worked as Research Fellow in the Institute of Liver Study, Kings College Hospital London. He has experience in workup and management of more than 1200 living donor liver transplants and is involved in a number of research projects published in national and international journals. His main areas of interest are HCV treatment, Liver transplantation in acute on chronic liver failure and Liver transplantation in HCC.
