Message from Prof. Dr. Arif Amir Nawaz

Prof. Dr. Arif Amir Nawaz is a distinguished gastroenterologist, hepatologist, medical educator, and healthcare leader based in Lahore. Trained in the United States and certified by the American Boards of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, he returned to Pakistan to establish and lead the Gastroenterology-Hepatology Department at Fatima Memorial Hospital.

As Hospital Director of FMH and Vice Principal (Clinical Affairs) of FMH College of Medicine & Dentistry, he has been instrumental in advancing clinical care, postgraduate medical training, and the development of modern gastroenterology and hepatology services in Pakistan. His efforts for mentoring undergraduates from Pakistan Society of Hepatology Platform are remarkable.
